While this is indeed very interesting, I think I'll just stick with my traditional 9-5…well actually it's more like a 9-ish to 6-ish, and it's not traditional but very progressive instead, but it is indeed a job as an employee…in a very very rare environment.

The SaaS one brings up another idea, which is a cloud infrastructure subcontractor. You will need some technical chops and possibly certifications, but once you have those it's more a matter of selling your expertise to existing consulting companies who don't have enough people to cover all of their jobs. It sounds a little ridiculous, but I made enough doing similar to put a down payment on a house in 6 months…. as a side gig.

But Mark, some of these jobs really ARE looking for younger ppl with healthy social media backgrounds while your average middle aged "looking for a job" kind of folks dont have that kind of portfolio on these platforms.
